Description

Peter Ydeen lives in Easton, Pennsylvania and works in New York City.  His studies include a BA in painting and sculpture from Virginia Tech, and an MFA in painting and sculpture from Brooklyn College.  His main photographic series, Easton Nights, is currently in its 9th showing at the Noyes Arts Garage in Atlantic City.

Easton Nights, inspired by the poetic works of George Tice, wanders through the   streets of industrial city of Easton, Pennsylvania in the small hours of the morning. What is revealed, is a surreal and romantic vision of a unique America as can only be shown at night. It is a sort of Pan’s Labyrinth world which is at once both silent and animated, revealing a unique reflection of our uncommon world.
